Ecosystem Fund

The Ecosystem Fund has an allocation of 10,000,000 $CU. Its purpose is to further the development of Crypto Unicorns and foster community growth. In the initial stages of the project, 46,640,000 of the allocation was sold for 11,660,000 USD to augment the treasury. This addition to the treasury was used to prolong the runway of the project during the year of 2023.

On April 1, 2022, the Crypto Unicorns governance was activated and control for the funds was turned over to the Crypto Unicorns DAO. Along with this, the Ecosystem Fund was also activated, with the community taking over the right to allocate funds through governance votes.

The Ecosystem Fund is an onboarding mechanism for new collaborators across a variety of areas to contribute. These are just some of the examples:
