Codex

Codex are recipes used for creating Gems. They can be purchased with RBW and Pages (which you can earn from the core game.) There are different types of Codex that you can buy from the Gemworks building at the “Buy a Codex” tab depending on the level of your Gemworks Building.

Buying a Codex

Besides crafting a Codex, one can also buy a Codex with $CU and Pages. Common Codices can be purchased at Gemworks Level 1, but Rare Codices wouldn’t be available for purchase until your Gemworks Building is at Level 4 Similarly, Mythic Codices can only be purchased when your Gemworks Building reaches Level 8.

Note: Upgrading your Gemworks building will increase the chance of receiving a higher-tier Codex from the pool.

To buy a Codex, go to the “Craft” tab and head over to the “Buy A Codex” tab. You will be able to see the list of codices that can be purchased and the resources required for each Codex. Choose the Codex you want to purchase, and make sure you have enough resources to buy the Codex. Once you’ve decided which Codex to buy, click the “Buy" button. The codex will be sent to your inventory after a successful purchase.
