Play to Airdrop

To celebrate the migration of Crypto Unicorns to the XAI blockchain, we will be doing a Play to Airdrop campaign that will provide players with $XAI tokens for participating in key activities.

Preseason

On May 28th a snapshot of player history was taken to seed points for the preseason of our play-to-airdrop campaign.

Preseason points are meant to give players a small headstart when it comes to point accumulation based on three tenets: Be Early, Engaged, and Loyal.

Part of our thesis around sustainable gaming economies revolves around rewarding players who are the most active and strategic in the ecosystem. In combination with this, we also value community members who hang on to most of their assets over the long term.

During the core game migration, which begins on May 28th, 2024, the game and its related smart contracts on Polygon will be offline. This means players will not be able to buy, sell, or breed Unicorns during the migration.

It's important to note that players cannot earn additional preseason points, as they were obtained only through the initial snapshot. However, new players will have many opportunities to catch up once Season 1 officially begins!

Season 1

Season 1 of the play-to-airdrop campaign will begin when the core game migration is complete and goes live on XAI.

As soon as gameplay is live on XAI, players will be able to start accruing points for Season 1!

How to Prepare for Season 1

Once the migration is complete, our game contracts will be live again on XAI and will allow players to buy and sell assets once again!

If you want to play for the Unicorn faction, you'll want to pick up some Unicorns and Land NFTs from the marketplace.

If you want to play for the Shadowcorn faction, then you'll just need to grab yourself at least one Shadowcorn of any variety—no land required!
