Crafting a Gem

Congratulations! You’ve acquired a lot of resources from the game to craft Gems and improve the stats of your Unicorns. Start crafting by going over to the “Craft” tab, you will see the list of slots that can be used for crafting Gems. Then, click the “Choose Codex” button and choose a codex in the “Select A Codex“ popup that will appear by clicking the “Select“ button. You can also view some information about a codex by clicking the “Info“ button.

Now you must assign an Adult Unicorn that will craft the Gem, click the “Choose Unicorn” button, and choose an Adult Unicorn in the “Select A Unicorn“ popup that will appear upon clicking the “Select“ button. You can also view a unicorn profile popup by clicking the “Profile“ button. Make sure that you have enough resources to craft a Gem, and then click the “Craft“ button.

When crafting has been completed, head over again to the “Crafting“ tab and go ahead and click the “Collect” button. A new collect popup will come up where you will see the information about the Gem you crafted. Proceed with collection and you will receive the crafted Gem in your Inventory.

Minting a Gem

You will need to mint your Gems into the game before you’ll be able to successfully equip it to your Unicorns.

To mint Gems you have to go to your Gemworks building and head over to the “Gems” tab, where you will see the Gems available for Minting under the “Locked” tab. Choose the Gem that you will Mint by clicking the “Mint” button. Confirm the blockchain transactions to proceed and you should see the successfully Minted Gem under the “Unlocked” tab in Gems.

Equipping a Gem

Note: A gem must be minted/unlocked before it can be equipped to a Unicorn.

Power up your Unicorns’ stats by equipping them with Gems! Head over to the “Equip” tab, where you can see a list of Unicorns that can be equipped with a Gem. Select the Unicorn you want to equip your Gems to and click the “Equip” button, the Unicorn profile popup will appear where you can view the Gems that the selected unicorn is already equipped with and other empty Gem slots, as well as the “Edit Gems” button.

Continue to bind new Gems, by clicking the “Edit Gems” button, then click on a Gem slot and choose a Gem in the “Select A Gem” popup by clicking the “Equip” button. You may also view the information about a Gem by clicking the “Info” button. After the player clicks the “Save Gem” button, a blockchain transaction will pop up. Confirm the transaction to permanently apply selected Gems to the Unicorn. Once the transaction is completed, the Unicorn's stats will be updated.

Note: Once a Gem is equipped to a Unicorn, it cannot be unequipped. If you want to replace the equipped Gem with a better Gem, the original Gem is burned.

Equipping a Gem From Inventory

You can also equip your Gems within your Inventory! Head over to Inventory and select the "Unicorns" tab. Then, click the "Profile" button on any Adult Unicorn, you wish to equip a Gem with. Click the “Modify Gems” button then click the “Edit Gem” button, and choose an empty Gem slot.

Choose the Gem you wish to equip in your Unicorn. Finally, click the “Save Gem,” and confirm the blockchain transaction to permanently apply selected Gems to the Unicorn. Once the transaction is completed, the Unicorn's stats will be updated!
