Step 5: Lock Your Assets

After the game loads for the first time, you will need to lock your Unicorn and Land NFTs into the game. This allows you to use your NFTs in the gameplay without having to sign additional transactions when they do actions.

Thanks to the speed of the Xai blockchain, locking in your assets is quick and easy! It just takes a couple of clicks and then you're all set to get farming!

Locking In

Click on "Inventory" then select "Unicorns" or "Lands".

Unicorns

The "Unicorns" tab is the default home tab of Inventory. To see your unlocked Unicorns, go to the "Unlocked" tab under the "Unicorns" tab.

On the "Unlocked" tab, click "Lock" on the Unicorn you wish to lock into the game.

A blockchain transaction should pop up. Sign the transaction to proceed and wait for it to process.

After the transaction is processed, your Unicorn should now appear under the "Locked" tab and you can finally use it in-game!

Lands

Once you have opened your inventory, go to the "Lands" tab, then click "Unlocked".

On the "Unlocked" tab, click "Lock" on the Land you wish to lock into the game.

A blockchain transaction should pop up. Sign the transaction to proceed and wait for it to process.

After the transaction is processed, your Land should now appear under the "Locked" tab. Click "Add" to deploy your Land in-game.

QUICK TIPS:

• You will have to lock every new Unicorn or Land asset you purchase along the way as you continue farming and want to expand. This process requires some patience right now but it is being updated.

• You will also have to unlock any asset from the game before selling it on any marketplace. You can unlock assets anytime, but it requires a blockchain transaction.

• If your transactions are taking a while, consider spending some extra gas to push the transaction through faster.
