What should I buy?
To get started in the Crypto Unicorns core game, you will need at least 1 Land and 1 Unicorn in your wallet.
Unicorns and Lands come in 9 different classes. More info about those classes can be found here: Unicorn Classes. It is imperative that Unicorns match the class of Land they are working on for maximum efficiency when doing tasks on the farm.
For Lands, players can choose between Common, Rare, and Mythic types. Rare lands work efficiently with 3 classes of Unicorn, and Mythic lands work efficiently with all 9 classes of Unicorn.
For Unicorns, players would be wise to pay attention to their total stats and remaining number of breed points in addition to their class. Total stats is the most general marker of Unicorn strength; in most cases, the higher the better!
QUICK TIPS:
Unicorns are hatched into babies that have limited capabilities until they are evolved into an adult Unicorn. Evolution costs resources ($CU and $UNIM), so purchasing an adult to start is usually best.
Breeding requires two adult Unicorns to produce an egg that hatches into a new baby Unicorn, as well as additional resources. But don’t worry too much about breeding to start. It will make more sense as you get comfortable collecting resources on your farm and develop a better understanding of the different classes.
